Games & Sports
Physical Education is an integral part of the education in our vidyalaya and we lay proper emphasis on games and sports. Football, Volleyball, Badminton, Table Tennis, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi and Track & Field(Athletics) ground facilities are available in the vidyalaya campus.Every year our vidyalaya produces good player to represent KVS at regional and national level.
our vidyalaya's 16 students participated in different games in regional meet 2009-10. 5 students selected for KVS National Meet 2009-10 held at headquarter Delhi. Girls throwball team won gold medal in KVS Regional Meet 2009-10 held at KV OLF Dehradun. 5 girls in throwball and 1 student in table tennis selected in KVS Regional Meet to participate in KVS National Meet held at New Delhi.
Building of Kendriya Vidyalaya Rishikesh sponsored by IDPL authorities. Hence change in the infrastructure for the facilities of Games & Sports is not possible.
Moreover 3 students under 17 /19 are selected in National meet of Table Tennis.

Sports Day Celebration
It is well said that a sound mind stays in a sound body. To achieve this purpose our school organizes such activities like games and sports which renovates energy and vigour of student. In order to inculcate the need of physical training. Our school provides necessary facililities and physical education in the form of part parcel of curriculum.
It is a matter of great pride that our vidyalaya celebrated sports day with great pomp and show. The occasion was graced by our worthy Assistant Commissioner Sh. J.M.Rawat and blessed by dedicated principal Smt.Ranjana Singhal.
