1). What is the schedule for fresh admission in Kendriya Vidyalaya. The schedule for fresh admission in Kendriya Vidayalaya is to be obtained in the month of Feb. every year.
2). What is the eligible age for admission in Class I A child must be 5 years old on 31st Mar5ch in the academic year in which admission is being sought for admission to Class I
3). What concession will be allowed for admission to SC/ST students in class XI. Student belonging to SC/ST may be given a max.concession of 5 marks in an individual subjects or a max concession of 15 marks spread over different subjects.
4). What is the schedule for fresh admission in class XI. Registration for fresh admission in class XI shall be taken up immediately after the declaration of class X result. and admission upto full strength should be completed by 25th June.
5). What are the provisions for KV TC admission when the transfer of parents is not involved. In such admissions on KV TC would be done with the prior approval of the Assistant Commissioner.
6). If there is any provision for over and above the class strength in class XI admission. There would be no admission in class XI over and above the class strength.
7). Whether the wards of KVS employee will be entertained or not over and above the class strength. The eligible wards of KVS employees will be granted admission upto 31st July over and above the class strength.
8). Name the authorities to register the DOB required for admission in the KVs This will include certificates from notified area council/municipality, municipal corporation, extract about the DOB from the records of village panchayat,military hospital and service records of defence personnel.
9). If seats under special provision remained vacant till the last date, can they be granted under general category. No ear marking for seats under special provision and thelast date for admission under special provision is 30th Sept. after that no admission can be done under general category.
10).Whether the registration can be done if the class strength is more than the strength of normal admission but less than the upper ceiling. Yes registration can be done only for category under special provision as per admission guide lines.
11). What is the provision for admission in class XI Science where adequate eligible children are available. (a) Science with Maths (i) A minimum of 55% marks in Maths. (ii) A minimum of 55% marks in Science and (iii) A minimum of 60% marks in Maths & Science together. (b) Science without Maths Science without Maths may be allowed of the student has 60% marks in Science and a min of 55% marks in aggregate of all subjects.
